- 1Venom I (Bolse route): Fight through surface defenses and a temple, then battle Robot Andross. Fox goes in alone.
- 2Venom II (Area 6 route): Star Wolf ambushes you in upgraded Wolfen II ships. Bombs and lock-ons are ineffective against them.
- 3Against True Form Andross: destroy his hands, then his head, then the brain with eye orbs.
- 4Escape tunnel sequence (Venom II): Left, Right, Left, Left, Right, Right for upgraded shields, hyper lasers, and bombs.
- 5Follow James McCloud's Arwing light to escape the exploding base.

- ▸Venom I (Easy Route): Destroy Robot Andross's eyes and brain.

- ▸Follow the escape tunnel: Left, Right, Left, Left, Right, Right for maximum upgrades.
